...A Little About Me...
My name is Rachel. I'm not a native Montanan, but I have lived here since I was six years old, so close enough :) I am, however, new to the Flathead Valley. Relatively. I have lived here for four years and still am finding new treasure coves, and getting myself lost. Photography is my creative outlet. I feel absolutely Alive when I am photographing. There's something about connecting with another human being, and creating such beautiful art inspired by that person, that is just so rewarding to me! I love natural light, there's something exciting about how unpredictable it is. I've shot in fog, snow, rain, clouds, and more seldomly... blue skies and sun! Even though some weather may be trickier to photograph, they come out charming in their own mystic way. I'm very adventurous when it comes to photography. I'm determined to get that shot come fog, snow, mud, or climbing things to get it. I shoot with a Nikon D60, I love how light and durable it is, good for when I decide to climb something :) I love telephoto lenses, and my favorite photographer is Annie Leibovitz. I aspire to have as much artistic inspiration as she does. The world is a playground!
